About us

Fairview International PLC owns and operates two private independent schools in Malaysia that offer the International Baccalaureate programme.

We aim to offer quality international education that is sustainable and accessible and which will add value to students, employers and the wider society in both the UK and internationally. Alongside the ongoing growth within our existing scchools, we will also seek to expand our business through acquisition of underperforming schools that will benefit from and add value to the Fairview Network.

The Fairview Network comprises six private independent international schools trading under the Fairview brand, each of which are independently recognised by the International Baccalaureate Organisation in their own right.

Through its membership of the network, Fairview International PLC and its schools have access to centralised facilities that range from curricula and operational support, training for teachers and centralised sourcing and procurement of goods and services.  This allows each school to focus on their respective market segments whilst benefiting from shared experiences, resources and collaboration across the Fairview Network.

Operations

Fairview International PLC's decision to acquire the Kuala Lumpur school stemmed from its status as being the largest and flagship institution under the Fairview brand. It is also the centre for strategic decisions of the Fairview Network as the key commercial centre for the network as well as operating as the network’s headquarters.

The acquisition of the Johor school was driven by its strategic focus on the expatriate market in Singapore, aligning with our international outlook.

The Company will use part of the funds raised on IPO to expand through acquisition, and the Board has an ongoing programme to examine undervalued or failing schools, either in the UK or in Asia. The Fairview model is highly replicable, with the IB curricula able to be mirrored between schools, and the teacher training programmes operated by the Fairview Network reducing overheads.

The success of further acquisitions will stem from the Company's experienced management team working alongside, and with the benefit of, the Fairview Network to leverage access to centralised facilities that range from curricula and operational leadership, training for teachers, and sourcing and procurement of goods and services.
